Ken is not aboard his famed white stallion of the movies, Tarzan. He was married to Bertha, seen here, from 1940 to 1968, when his fortunes began to decline. At last destitute, he lived alone in a decrepit trailer, until he was admitted to Motion Picture Hospital, in Woodland Hlls, where he died of stomach cancer in 1973, at age 77.
