Jan. 18,1953 was Ben Williams Birthday. I didn't remind Buckles until it was too late to put in the Blog on the 18th. I had a doctors appointment and it was with the new doctor. THE BLANK. So I was so upset I just was not thinking. Then Shannon took off a half day to take me and then we blew the appointment because we set in traffic for 30 minutes because of an accident. So we had to set the appointment for Fri...Barbara...

It was Skye' s birthday also. She was born on Ben's birthday. It was my prediction to him when I was about 6 months along. Yesterday we put a candle for Ben on her cheesecake then sang the Happy Birthday song. The days closing in on his and her birthday had difficult moments filled with thoughts of him for all of us. Even the little one wished her 'Ol Dad a Happy Birthday. Ben called Rex "Dear 'ol Dad" and he wanted to be called "ol Dad" when he became a Grandparent. Our eldest Daughter Jennifer had 2 Daughters and a Son where they had made him a Great Grandfather while he was alive. Jen looks so much like Ben as does her Son. We keep his memory very much alive. This beautiful picture is one of my most proudest moments of many. Thank you for showing this beautiful photo again and kudos to the photographer. Was this a Paul Gutheil photo? I am pretty sure it is. I know it was in the Program. Ben, may you rest in peace. I love you.

It is a program photo, but I took some similar ones. Woodcocks and Williams: it will never get any better than you! Diane and I were so happy to see that Ben came along when we all went out for lunch at The Crab Trap(?!) in 2008, my one and only trip to Florida and the last time we saw Ben, very special. Many thanks, blessings, and much love to you all.
