In my youth (oh so long ago) the

Railway Express Agency was the

dominent "intermodal" carrier

long before that word was used

as regularly as it is nowadays

Their railway wagons were visible

at most railway stations as were

their delivery trucks on the road

The name was changed in the early

60s to REA Express Agency which

is just as redundant as is FedEx

Express since their name change

REA ceased opertions in 1975
