Looks like a living quarters wagon. It couldn`t have carried much of a load with what looks like motorcycle wheels on it.

just now realized it`s the ticket wagon, should have looked a little closer the first time.

Wonderful set of pics!!
I don't feel so bad now, saying I had never heard of it if the Col. never heard of it either.

The rest of us should keep rummaging.

Many thanks Buckles

I guess the word "Brothers" is

fairly universal in show titles

I can't think of any other than

"Cottle Sister's Circus" from

merry old England with sisters

I'm sure some historian types

must know of some others

I believe the sisters were the

daughters of Gerry Cottle

It could have been both Hal but

the lettering gave it away

In much later years it became

a pretzel company (groan)

Still curious. When Ben Davenport had out his circuses,[Daily Bros.] he was a tough guy in every way and had a crew of bosses and show guys that were tough as well;.Onje of them being a fixture on the show as a builder [wagons and other heavy equipment] and on the road I believe he was EQ. drtr. and a feature wild west-concert boss named "Tiger Bill Snyder". He had a son who was an all-around showguy named Leon Snyder who was quite a "rang". Somewhere in my mind I recall tIGER bILL HAving out a little show before Dailey Bros. Hop somebody out there knows .johnny

My grandfather's sister was Ethel (Cuyler) Snyder, wife of Frank C. Snyder. They lived in Red Creek, New York. One summer while I was visiting my grandparents, who lived only 2 doors away from Uncle Frank and Aunt Ethel, Grandma Cuyler took me to Auburn, New York to the Snyder Brothers Circus. Uncle Frank was involved somehow. I got to ride an elephant, with my only memory being how wire-like their hair is! This was in the late 50's, I believe. I was born in 1946 so was 10 -12 years old. Uncle Frank commented once that he had a circus but I don't remember any more of the circumstance or conversation.
