From Chris Berry

This "daub" on the side of a shed near St. Louis is from 1924 and is typical of a country billing stand in the early 20th Century. The two pictorials - for the Reiffenach Sisters riding act and aerial gymnast Lillian Leitzel - are both six sheets (as Ole Whitey will attest, it is the only SQUARE poster in the billposter's hod). Although the billing stand was a bit weathered by the time this photo was taken, on the day it was posted it was made up of a total of 32 sheets of paper, including an eight sheet title streamer across the top, two WAIT one sheets, two three-sheet date sheets and four one-sheet dates. (I only wish it was in color...)
